Basque Toy & Miniature Australian Shepherds

At Basque Toy & Mini Aussies, our dogs and puppies first and foremost are part of our family and we love them dearly. Our family has fallen in love with these smaller versions of the Australian Shepherd and we take pride is offering the all around family companion (as well as show prospects)! 

Our breeding program has been selected with utmost care to find breeding lines that complement each other well and will produce happy, healthy pups with excellent conformation, soundness (mind & body) and temperaments.  

We breed for quality Toy Australian Shepherds (9-14") and small Miniature Australian Shepherds (14+"-15). We tend to breed for less herding instinct and less energy; focusing on the complete companion dog - the look, color and intelligence of the Aussie in a "city-sized" dog.

A loving, friendly family disposition and good health are more important to us than a perfect "show dog". Our puppies come into the world as companions first and MAYBE some of them are show dogs second.

All of our dogs live in our home with our family. They are well socialized and "kid proof". We only have approximately 2-3 litters per year.
